Terms and conditions
The rules for buying from Clover King Seeds — food product, garden centre goods, delivery, and trade accounts.
Who you are dealing with
Clover King Seeds Garden Center operates a microgreens grow room, a seed shop, and a garden centre in Cold Lake, Alberta. Using this site or placing an order means you accept these terms. They are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
Orders and pricing
- An order is accepted when we confirm it by email, not when you submit it.
- Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes.
- The Monday 6:00 PM cutoff applies to Tuesday harvest; the Wednesday 6:00 PM cutoff applies to Friday harvest.
- We may correct obvious pricing or stock errors and cancel the affected order with a full refund.
Fresh food terms
Microgreens and living trays are perishable food. They are grown to order, harvested on a schedule, and cannot be resold once they leave us.
Three days, then final Any problem with a food product must be reported within three (3) days of receipt. After that there are no refunds, credits, or exchanges on food products. Full detail is in the refund policy.
- Yields vary. If a tray underperforms we substitute a comparable variety or credit the item, and we tell you before delivery when we can.
- Weights are approximate harvest weights and may vary slightly.
- Cut greens must be refrigerated on receipt; living trays must be kept cool and lit.
Delivery and pickup
- We deliver in Cold Lake, Grand Centre, and the surrounding Lakeland towns listed on the delivery page.
- Delivery runs Thursday mornings. Free over $35 in Cold Lake.
- Someone should be available to refrigerate the order, or leave us a safe, shaded spot. Once we deliver to the agreed spot, the order is yours.
- Pickup orders are held for the day they are scheduled. Uncollected perishable orders are not refunded.
- Winter weather, road closures, and power interruptions can delay a run. We contact you and reschedule.
Subscriptions
A Greens Box renews weekly or every second week until you cancel. Skip, pause, or cancel in your account before the weekly cutoff. Cancelling after cutoff takes effect the following cycle.
Wholesale and trade
Trade accounts run on standing weekly orders, invoiced monthly, net 30. Standing volume changes need 48 hours notice. Late accounts may be put on hold until they are settled.
Health, allergens, and claims
Our greens are grown indoors and nothing is sprayed on them. We make no medical or nutritional claims. Produce is grown and packed in a facility that handles many seed types, including mustard family seed. Wash produce before eating.
Limits
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing here removes rights you have under Alberta consumer protection law.
This website
Photos, text, and the Clover King name belong to us. Do not copy them for commercial use. Do not attempt to disrupt the site or place fraudulent orders. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the last change.
