Privacy policy
We are a garden centre, not a data business. We collect what an order needs and nothing we cannot explain.
What we collect
- Order details: name, email, phone, delivery address, what you bought, and your delivery or pickup preferences.
- Account details, if you make an account: email and a hashed password. We never see your password.
- Subscription details for a Greens Box: schedule, tier, and delivery notes.
- Wholesale enquiries: business name, contact, and volume needs.
- Basic site analytics: pages visited and rough region, used only to see what people look at.
We do not store your full card number. Payments are handled by our payment processor; we see only the last digits and whether the charge succeeded.
Why we use it
- To grow, pack, and deliver the order you placed.
- To contact you about that order, a substitution, or a delivery time.
- To run subscriptions and trade accounts, and to invoice.
- To send the Seed Drop email — only if you asked for it. Unsubscribe is in every email.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers needed to run the shop: our payment processor, our email provider, our hosting provider, and our own delivery drivers. Each sees the minimum needed. We also disclose information where Canadian law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept as long as Canadian tax and business records rules require. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete the account.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything wrong.
- Ask us to delete your account and marketing record.
- Unsubscribe from email at any time.

The shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
